Garlic Expressions Salad Dressing Recipe

Carla Hall
When you look at the label on a ranch bottle, there are so many big words and weird ingredients. Like, stuff that’s not even food! That’s kind of scary, right? So instead of that, we’re going to make something better. Way better. It’s full of flavor, and guess what? You don’t have to buy the bottle at the store anymore. We’re gonna make it right here, at home, together!

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups olive oil can substitute with canola oil
  • cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons garlic minced; add fresh garlic cloves for extra punch
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice fresh-squeezed or bottled
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or your favorite sugar substitute
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Find a clean jar, thermos, or any bottle with a tight-sealing lid. This is where the magic happens.
  • Pour in the olive oil, followed by the apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. This helps the ingredients mix more smoothly.
  • Add garlic, sugar, black pepper, and salt.
  • Shake it like you mean it.
  • Seal your container tightly and give it a vigorous shake. Dance around the kitchen if the mood strikes!
  • For best flavor, let the dressing sit for 2–3 days in the fridge. The garlic and seasonings will infuse the oil and vinegar beautifully over time.
  • Use it over salads, roasted veggies, or as a marinade for grilled chicken or fish. Shake before each use.

Notes

Store your Garlic Expressions salad dressing in a clean, airtight jar or bottle in the fridge. Let it sit for 2–3 days before using so the flavors blend. Shake well before each use, as natural separation may occur. No need to reheat-just bring it to room temperature for a few minutes if the oil thickens. That’s it-easy and fresh every time!
